Dillon was participating in several tournaments and fighting against state-level and district-level competitors. In 2016, he was invited by fighter Conor McGregor to train with him, so to prepare Dilon for his fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 202. He continued to work with Connor helping him prepare for a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, by this time Dilon was exhibiting an arrogant attitude on his social media, and his trainer, Marcelo Garcia suspended him from his academy saying that Dilon was behaving arrogantly.
In 2018, Dillon made his MMA Debut at Bellator 198, where he fought against Kyle Walker. Dillon won the match right away in the first round via a toe Hold technic. After that, Dillon appeared in a fight against Max Humphreys at Bellator 222 at a catchweight of 175 lbs. Danis won the fight via armbar in the first round. Pertaining to some conflict, it was announced on 19th November 2022 that Danis will fight against KSI in a professional Boxing match the Match is scheduled on 14th January 2023.

In 2015, Danis fought UFC veteran Joe Lauzon at Metamoris 6. Thankfully, Danis won via a D’arc choke method. The next year, he participated in a fight against Jackson Sousa at Polaris Pro Grappling 4. Danis also won this match with an inside-heel hook technique.
